Dr. Miryala is a highly accomplished cardiologist with extensive experience and numerous board certifications. He is board certified in Cardiology, CT Coronary Angiography, Internal Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology. His expertise spans various cardiac imaging techniques, including Nuclear Imaging, Coronary CT Angiography, Trans-esophageal Echocardiography, Vascular Imaging, and Coronary Angiography.
Dr. Miryala completed his medical education at Kakatiya Medical College in India, followed by residency training at New York Methodist Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Florida/Ohio Program. He further honed his skills through a Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.
His professional experience includes serving as an Attending Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Florida, where he supervised resident physicians and engaged in teaching activities. Dr. Miryala has been recognized for his excellence in patient care and teaching, receiving multiple awards throughout his career, including Outstanding Resident Awards and a Best Teacher Award.
Currently, Dr. Miryala serves as the Chief of Cardiology at Villages Hospital, a position he has held since 2008. He is actively involved in professional societies, including the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Miryala is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
He currently sees patients in The Villages, Brownwood, and Leesburg, utilizing advanced techniques in Nuclear Cardiology and CT Coronary Angiography to provide optimal care for his heart patients.
